The Intern will also provide administrative assistant support to the LRIS Director as needed.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Duties and Responsibilities:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>\uf02a Answers the telephone and conducts client intake<br \/>\n\uf02a Maintains files of referral updates<br \/>\n\uf02a Administration of end of the month reports<br \/>\n\uf02a Confirms liability insurance coverage for all LRIS members<br \/>\n\uf02a Researches online court dockets for unreported referred cases<\/p>\n<p>The Student Intern will work ten (10) hours per week and will receive a $1,500 stipend at the conclusion of the internship. The Internship is for the Fall 2018 semester (Through December 7) and the incumbent can be reappointed for subsequent semesters. The ideal candidate has excellent verbal and written communication skills as well as the ability to deal with clients of all demeanors. Knowledge of the Windows operating environment, Microsoft Office, and general database usage is required.<\/p>\n<p>Interested persons should submit a resume and letter of interest detailing the skills and abilities that will help them succeed in this position.
