Akron Law will be given early access to Westlaw Edge<\/a> on September 1, 2018. Westlaw will look a little different, but will have the same search functionality as always – with some exciting new features:<\/p>\n

  1. Westlaw Search Plus – Improved artificial intelligence searching helps to quickly find answers to legal questions. Westlaw Search Plus gives you predictive research suggestions as you type.<\/li>\n
  2. Litigation Analytics – Compiles docket data to create a history and graphs of: a judge’s ruling tendencies, opposing counsel’s experience, win-rate of a law firm, and lots more.<\/li>\n
  3. Overruling Risk Keycite\u00a0Symbol – A new orange triangle with an exclamation point indicates a case may have been implicitly overruled -e.g., your case relied on another case that has been overruled.<\/li>\n
  4. Statutes Compare – Easily compare different versions of a statute to see how the language changed over time.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n
