Project: Rural Education Project. Information available\u00a0<u><a href=\"https:\/\/rurallegalcorps.org\/apply\/\">HERE<\/a><\/u><\/p>\n<p><strong>Qualifications: <\/strong>Attending an accredited law school.\u00a01L, 2L. Be a U.S. Citizen, U.S. National or lawful permanent resident (e.g. green card). For several placements, possess a valid driver&#8217;s license and access to adequate transportation during summer placement.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Funding: <\/strong>Participants will receive $5,000 stipend for their service. Students have the option to apply for unlimited additional outside funding through their university or other sources.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Program Participant Expectations: <\/strong>Attend a three-day training seminar in Washington, D.C. Complete 300 hours of service within an 8-10 week period. Complete all required program reporting and documentation.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Housing and Transportation: <\/strong>It is the participant&#8217;s responsibility to obtain housing and ensure adequate transportation throughout the summer placement.
