Every semester, the Asian-Latino Law Students Association (ALLSA) hosts a community service project called Canned Immunity. In exchange of canned goods or monetary donations, ALLSA gives law students “immunity tickets” that make them immune from being called on in class. This year, we plan on donating our canned goods to the local Akron food bank, and our monetary donations to a charitable organization providing relief to victims of the Japanese earthquake and tsunami. 2 cans or $1 will get you 1 immunity ticket. Find any of us at our booth in the cafeteria all throughout the week to check whether your professor is participating.
