It\u2019s\nthat time of year again! Become a part of the nationally-ranked Akron Law Moot\nCourt Honor Society! This year, we proudly sent teams to four different\ncompetitions in Boston, Massachusetts, Newark, New Jersey, Brooklyn, New York,\nand Cincinnati, Ohio. Our ABA team, at\nthe Regional Competition of the National Appellate Advocacy Competition, won 5\nout of 5 rounds, and will soon be going to the National Competition in Chicago,\nIllinois. At the Rendigs Product\nLiability Competition in Cincinnati, one of our teams made it all the way to\nthe quarter-final round. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
We\nwant to grow our team and come back even stronger next year! Join us for the\n2019-2020 season! Try-outs will take\nplace on Saturday, April 13th<\/sup> in room 180.<\/p>\n\n\n\n All\nyou need to do is prepare a 7-8 minute oral argument on the side of your choice\nfrom the provided problem!<\/p>\n\n\n\n Please\nemail Chloe DeAngelis to get the problem and include your preferred morning\ntryout time slot. Time slots will be\nfilled on a first come, first served basis. \nAlso, please provide her with the argument section of your LARW II brief\nas well. <\/p>\n\n\n\n If\nyou have any questions or concerns, please reach out to us.
