Seeking\nstudents to work in the Inmate Assistance Program paid position – $9.50 per\nhour up to 20 hours per week. Student will travel to Summit County jail once a\nweek, every week, on Tuesday mornings, meet with inmates who have legal\nquestions, and research and draft letters back to the inmates. Students\ninterested in developing interviewing, research, and writing skills should\napply. Our clinic graduates use their skills in civil and criminal contexts as\nPublic Defenders, County Prosecutors, Legal Aid lawyers, judicial law clerks,\nand civil practitioners. Students must be willing to commit to the\nprogram for one year. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
