{"id":69799,"date":"2019-08-16T00:00:21","date_gmt":"2019-08-16T04:00:21","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/blogs.uakron.edu\/law\/?p=69799"},"modified":"2019-08-09T14:53:07","modified_gmt":"2019-08-09T18:53:07","slug":"orientation-volunteers-needed-7","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/blogs.uakron.edu\/law\/2019\/08\/16\/orientation-volunteers-needed-7\/","title":{"rendered":"Orientation Volunteers Needed"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p style=\"text-align:center\" class=\"has-medium-font-size\"><strong>Attention returning law students!<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Office of Student Affairs requests student volunteers to assist with the following aspects of Orientation Week (August 19 \u2013 23):<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p style=\"text-align:center\"><strong>Volunteers will earn General Community Service Hours!<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Check \u2013 In<\/strong>&nbsp;\u2013&nbsp;<em>Wednesday, August 21, 1:30 to 6:30 pm<\/em>: We are looking for 3 student volunteers to assist our new students with getting checked in.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Orientation Dinner Check \u2013 In<\/strong>&nbsp;\u2013&nbsp;<em>Wednesday, August 21, 4:30 \u2013 6:00 pm<\/em>: We are looking for 4 student volunteers to assist with check \u2013 in at the Orientation Dinner at the Jean Hower Taber Student Union (dinner provided).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Summer Trial Academy Shepherds<\/strong>&nbsp;\u2013&nbsp;<em>Friday, August 23, 7:30 am \u2013 2:00 pm<\/em>: We are looking for 6 student volunteers to shepherd each group of 1L students to and from their respective courtrooms at the Summit County Courthouse (lunch provided).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Please email Shannon Aupperle at&nbsp;<a href=\"mailto:sfauppe@uakron.edu\">sfauppe@uakron.edu<\/a>&nbsp;as soon as possible if you would like to assist with any of the aspects of Orientation Week.&nbsp; Please be sure to indicate with which aspect you would like to assist.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Attention returning law students!
