The Intern\nwill also provide administrative assistant support to the LRIS Director as\nneeded.&nbsp;Answers the telephone and conducts client intake; Maintains files\nof referral updates; and Researches online court dockets for unreported\nreferred cases.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Legal Professional Development<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Legal\nProfessional Development Department provides Ohio Supreme Court certified\ncontinuing legal education to area attorneys.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Duties: <\/strong>The Intern will\nassist the Legal Professional Development Director with seminar preparation,\nevent logistics, and follow-up reporting to the Ohio Supreme Court. Soliciting\nand preparing seminar materials for attendees; Maintaining files of attendees\nand CLE Credits; and Completing reports at the conclusion of CLE events.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Qualifications: <\/strong>2L, 3L. The\nStudent Intern will work ten (10) hours per week and will receive a $1,800\nstipend at the conclusion of the internship. The Internship is for the Fall\n2019 15-week semester beginning August 26 and the incumbent can be reappointed\nfor subsequent semesters.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Should have\nexcellent verbal and written communication skills as well as the ability to\ndeal with clients of all demeanors.
