Calibri\"><strong><span style=\"text-decoration: underline\">SCENARIO #1:<\/span><\/strong><strong>\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Present accumulative GPA before this fall 2011 semester is 2.5 or lower, then 91 style=\"font-family: Calibri\">Course Requirements Based Upon UPPER DIVISION (Nearing Completion) Students<\/span><\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong><span style=\"font-size: large\">\u00a0<\/span><\/strong><strong><span style=\"font-family: Calibri\">\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Effective with Fall 2008 Class:<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong><span style=\"font-family: Calibri\">\u00a0<\/span><\/strong><strong><span style=\"font-family: Calibri\">\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 <span style=\"text-decoration: underline\">Bar Preparation Course (9200:673), Advanced Legal Applications<\/span><\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<h6><strong><\/strong><span style=\"color: #ff0000\"><strong><span style=\"font-size: large\">*Mandatory enrollment in the Bar Preparation Course, 9200:673, Advanced Legal Applications applies to:<\/span><\/strong><\/span><\/h6>\n<p><strong><span style=\"font-family: Calibri\">(a) \u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Any student planning to graduate in December of a given year, who had a cumulative GPA of 2.5 or lower at the beginning of the fall semester of the year immediately preceding the year in which they intend to graduate, and <\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong><span style=\"font-family: Calibri\">\u00a0<\/span><\/strong><strong><span style=\"font-family: Calibri\">(b) \u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 any student planning to graduate in May of a given year, who had a cumulative GPA of 2.5 or lower at the beginning of the immediately preceding fall semester, must enroll in the Bar Preparation Course, beginning with the class entering in 2008. <\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong><span style=\"font-family: Calibri\">\u00a0<\/span><\/strong><strong><span style=\"font-family: Calibri\">In addition, such enrollment is recommended for students in classes entering prior to <\/span><\/strong><strong><span style=\"font-family: Calibri\">2008.<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<h6><span style=\"color: #ff0000\"><strong><span style=\"font-family: Calibri\">\u00a0<\/span><\/strong><strong><span style=\"font-size: large\">*This restriction shall end if the student achieves an accumulative law GPA of 2.7 or higher.<\/span><\/strong><\/span><\/h6>\n<p><strong><span style=\"font-family: Calibri\">\u00a0<\/span><\/strong><strong><span style=\"font-family: Calibri\">\u00a0<\/span><\/strong><span style=\"font-family: Calibri\"><strong><span style=\"text-decoration: underline\">SCENARIO #2:<\/span><\/strong><strong>\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 GPA end First Semester is 2.0 or lower:<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p><strong><span style=\"font-family: Calibri\">\u00a0<\/span><\/strong><span style=\"font-family: Calibri\"><strong><span style=\"text-decoration: underline\">Course Requirements Based Upon First SEMESTER Grades<\/span><\/strong><strong><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p><strong><em><span style=\"font-family: Calibri\">\u00a0<\/span><\/em><\/strong><strong><span style=\"font-family: Calibri\">Effective with Fall 2008 Entering Class:<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong><em><span style=\"font-family: Calibri\">\u00a0<\/span><\/em><\/strong><strong><em><span style=\"font-family: Calibri\">A student with an accumulative law grade point average of 2.0 or below (or 2.3 or below effective with the Fall 2009 entering class and subsequent entering classes) at the end of the first semester of law studies is subject to the following requirements:<\/span><\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong><em><span style=\"font-family: Calibri\">\u00a0<\/span><\/em><\/strong><strong><span style=\"font-family: Calibri\">1. The student will be assigned to a two-credit Criminal Law Lab in addition to Criminal Law. <\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong><span style=\"font-family: Calibri\">\u00a0<\/span><\/strong><strong><span style=\"font-family: Calibri\">2. The student will be withdrawn from LARW II during the spring semester. The student will take LARW II during the summer after the first year of law school. If the student is in the part-time program, the student will also take Property I &amp; II during the summer of the first year of law school. Students may not be employed if enrolled in Property I, Property II and LARW II. <\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong><span style=\"font-family: Calibri\">\u00a03<\/span><\/strong><strong><span style=\"font-family: Calibri\">. The student may be required to take additional not for credit Lab courses prior to graduation.*<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong><span style=\"font-family: Calibri\">\u00a0<\/span><\/strong><strong><span style=\"font-family: Calibri\">4. The student will be required to take the Bar Exam Preparation Course (3 credits) during the final semester prior to graduation.
