\nI am writing to provide notice of the Laura Bassi Scholarship’s Winter 2019\nround of funding and would be grateful if, as before, you could share the\ndetails with your department, particularly master’s and doctoral candidates, as\nwell as junior academics. The description is pasted below with the updated\ndeadlines:

\nThe Laura Bassi Scholarship, which awards a total of $8,000 thrice per annum,\nwas established by Editing Press in 2018 with the aim of providing editorial\nassistance to postgraduates and junior academics whose research focuses on\nneglected topics of study, broadly construed. The scholarships are open to\nevery discipline and the next round of funding will be awarded in December\n2019:

\n    Winter 2019
\n    Application deadline: 25 November 2019
\n    Results: 15 December 2019

\nAll currently enrolled master\u2019s and doctoral candidates are eligible to apply,\nas are academics in the first five years of their employment. Applicants are\nrequired to submit a completed application form along with their CV through the\napplication portal by the relevant deadline.
