Nominations for\nthe 2020-2021 SBA Board are open. As a student at\nAkron Law, you are automatically a member of SBA. As such, you can\nnominate individuals to the executive board and for class representatives.\nThe executive board is composed of the president, vice-president, treasurer,\nand secretary. To be eligible to run for an executive board position you MUST\nhave completed two full semesters of law school prior to the time you will take\noffice (not including the summer semester). Further, each student can nominate up to 4 class\nrepresentatives (2L, 3L, part-time). <\/p>\n\n\n\n

\nAny individual who would like to be nominated for an executive board or class\nrepresentative position on SBA must get at least two nominations (you are able\nto nominate yourself). Nominations will open on Monday, April 13 and will close\non Thursday, April 16 at 6 p.m<\/strong>. You may only nominate representatives\nfrom your representative class, but all classes are able to nominate qualified\nindividuals for the executive board positions. Spring Start Students: you are\nnot able to nominate class representatives at\nthis time, as your\nclass election will be next spring, but you are able to nominate and\nvote for executive positions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
