This\ncross-registration will afford our respective students the opportunity to\nenrich their academic experience by having the option to take a course offered\nby one of the law schools and not offered by the other. The two schools will\nuse existing University cross-registration agreements to offer a limited number\nof courses at each school to all students.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>There are four additional courses available to you this Fall\nthrough this new collaboration. The cross-registration courses are listed\nbelow:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<table class=\"wp-block-table\"><tbody><tr><td>\n  <strong>AKRON LAW<\/strong>\n  <\/td><td><strong>CSU   CLEVELAND-MARSHALL<\/strong>   <\/td><\/tr><tr><td><strong>International   Intellectual Property Advocacy Practicum (3 cr.)<\/strong>   <\/td><td><strong>HIPAA &amp; Privacy   (3 cr.)<\/strong>   <\/td><\/tr><tr><td><strong>Juvenile Law (3   cr.) <\/strong>   <\/td><td><strong>Healthcare   Compliance I (3 cr.)<\/strong>   <\/td><\/tr><tr><td><strong>Second Amendment (2   cr.) <\/strong>   <\/td><td><strong>White Collar Crime   (3 cr.)<\/strong>   <\/td><\/tr><tr><td><strong>Trademark Clinic (2   cr.)<\/strong>   <\/td><td><strong>Corporate   Compliance (3 cr.)<\/strong>   <\/td><\/tr><\/tbody><\/table>\n\n\n\n<p>All of these courses will be offered remotely this semester.\n<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Students will register with their home institutions but will\ntake the courses offered at the designated institution. Tuition and fees will\nbe paid to the home institution. Any student enrolling in one of these courses\nat the school will not pay additional tuition or fees at the other school. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Any Akron Law student interested in taking one of the four courses listed above should complete the <a href=\"https:\/\/blogs.uakron.edu\/law\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/101\/2020\/08\/Cross\u2010Registration-Form.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" aria-label=\" (opens in a new tab)\">attached form<\/a> and submit it to Dean Janoski-Haehlen at <a href=\"mailto:ejanoskihaehlen@uakron.edu\">ejanoskihaehlen@uakron.edu<\/a>, copying Director Misty Franklin at <a href=\"mailto:misty@uakron.edu\">misty@uakron.edu<\/a>, by August 21.
