The Akron Law Federalist Society is hosting Professor Stephen Ware<\/a>, University of Kansas Professor of Law, in a discussion over defunding the police with BLSA speaker, Mr. Edward Gilbert<\/a>. Professor Mike Gentithes<\/a>, Akron Law Professor, will moderate and provide commentary following the panel discussion in order to engage the issues with each side’s views. Like the debate over qualified immunity, this event is sure to be engaging given the country\u2019s current affairs with law enforcement.
