The CPPO and the Akron Bar Association Liaison Committee present: \u201cA Day in the Life Of\u2026\u201d Series<\/p>\n
\u00a0Each workshop in this new series will be held at the law school and will consist of a small discussion group of 10 law students and a local attorney who specializes in a certain area of law. This intimate and informal setting will allow law students to get their questions answered about a particular job or type of practice and to engage in conversations with local attorneys in varying fields.<\/p>\n
\u00a0The first workshop in this series, \u201cA Day in the Life of a Criminal Defense Attorney\u201d, will take place on Wednesday, November 9th<\/sup> at 5:15 p.m. in Room 133 with Attorney Michael Callahan<\/strong>, former Akron Municipal Court Judge, Summit County Common Pleas Court Judge and Summit County Prosecutor, who will speak to law students about his career and offer insight into life as a prosecuting attorney and judge. This event is only open to the first 10 students to \u00a0RSVP to Jeanne Kennedy at Jeanne2@uakron.edu<\/a> by Wednesday, November 2nd<\/sup> at Noon.<\/strong> Students will be notified by the CPPO if they are participating.
