Ponnuru grew up in Kansas City and graduated summa cum laude from Princeton\u2019s history department. Ponnuru has published articles in numerous newspapers including the\u00a0<em>New York Times<\/em>, the\u00a0<em>Washington Post<\/em>, the\u00a0<em><a href=\"http:\/\/www.nationalreview.com\/author\/49289\/bio\" target=\"_blank\">Wall\u00a0Street<\/a>\u00a0Journal<\/em>, the\u00a0<em>Financial Times<\/em>,\u00a0<em>Newsday<\/em>, and the\u00a0<em>New York Post<\/em>. He has also written for\u00a0<em>First Things<\/em>,\u00a0<em>Policy Review<\/em>,\u00a0<em>The Weekly Standard<\/em>,\u00a0<em>The New Republic<\/em>,<em>Reason<\/em>, and other publications. He has appeared on numerous\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.nationalreview.com\/author\/49289\/bio\" target=\"_blank\">television<\/a>news programs.
