In these cases, the University Hearing Board is activated in order to reach a resolution.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>The University Hearing Board is comprised of five members; including faculty, staff and students and it is convened to:<\/li><li>Provide all parties an opportunity to share what happened from their perspectives,<\/li><li>Develop questions for students and witnesses involved to understand theincident and fact pattern,<\/li><li>Deliberate to determine outcome of case, once all information has been heard.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>This leadership opportunity is an outstanding addition to your academic curriculum and resume by strengthening the skills you possess in listening, problem solving, questioning\/interviewing others, and the critical analysis of information.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Department of Student Conduct is in need of highly motivated students, like you! <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Download the application at <a href=\"http:\/\/www.uakron.edu\/studentconduct\">www.uakron.edu\/studentconduct <\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>**Application is titled \u2013 University Hearing Board Student Application Form <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Questions or completed applications should be emailed to <a href=\"mailto:dnovak@uakron.edu\">dnovak@uakron.edu <\/a>or delivered to the Department of Student Conduct and Community Standards located in Simmons Hall Rm. 302.
