{"id":90551,"date":"2021-04-28T12:46:11","date_gmt":"2021-04-28T16:46:11","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/blogs.uakron.edu\/law\/?p=90551"},"modified":"2021-04-28T12:46:11","modified_gmt":"2021-04-28T16:46:11","slug":"elite-lawyer-scholarship-opportunity","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/blogs.uakron.edu\/law\/2021\/04\/28\/elite-lawyer-scholarship-opportunity\/","title":{"rendered":"Elite Lawyer scholarship opportunity"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>Elite Lawyer, a directory and rating service that recognizes high-achieving attorneys who have made significant contributions to their communities and the legal profession is offering a $500 scholarship for the Fall 2021 semester to support college students who have a similar passion for making a difference in their communities.<br><br><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Applications are open to students who:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Are currently enrolled in an undergraduate &nbsp;or graduate program at an accredited U.S. college or university for Fall 2021<\/li><li>Are at least 18 years old<\/li><li>Have a current GPA of at least 3.0<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>We require that applicants submit either an original 500-word essay or 2-minute video presentation answering the question: \u201cWhat positive change are you working to bring to your community this year?\u201d The deadline to apply is August 1, 2021.
