The email subject must say LAW CLERK.&nbsp;<br><strong>Deadline: ASAP<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><a><strong><u>Akron, OH \u2013 Law Clerk &#8211; City of Akron Law Department<\/u><\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Law Clerk \u2013 City of Akron Prosecutor\u2019s Office:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Prepares legal arguments including established precedents in cases involving the City of Akron.&nbsp; Does legal research and prepares legal briefs.&nbsp; Locates and interviews witnesses.&nbsp; Files required legal documents with the governmental agency involved in the court action.&nbsp; Obtains necessary documents from involved agency as required for proper, adequate court action.&nbsp; Performs other duties as assigned.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Minimum Qualifications: Currently enrolled in an accredited law school and must possess a Legal Intern Certificate or be eligible to obtain it (59 or more law school credits; rising 3Ls )<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Knowledge of interrelationships of government agencies.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Ability to present concise logical arguments orally and in writing.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Law Clerks are requested to work 28 hours per week and specified working hours for the Prosecutor&#8217;s Office are below:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Monday &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; 12:30 pm &#8211; 4:30 pm<br>Tuesday &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; 8:00 am &#8211; 4:30 pm<br>Wednesday &nbsp; 8:00 am &#8211; 4:30 pm<br>Thursday&nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp;8:00 am &#8211; 4:30 pm<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This schedule can be flexible!
