Since 2016, the fun has awarded more than $45,000 in scholarships to help local students achieve their higher education goals.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Eligibility Requirements:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Applicants must be a student or resident in the geographic area served by GCEF, which includes Medina, Portage, Stark, Summit, and Wayne counties.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Applicants must participate in organizations or initiatives that positively impact the LGBTQ+ community.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Scholarship amounts and the number of awards vary each year.
