This scholarship is a tribute to the legacy of Nelson Mandela and his dedication to justice and equality. We are proud to offer this scholarship to African-American college students\/graduates planning to attend law school in the Fall of 2025, 2026, 2027, or 2028.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Eligibility Criteria:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Applicants must submit a proposal (500-1000 words) answering the essay question:<br><em>\u201cAs a future lawyer, how do you plan to leverage your legal education and skills to drive meaningful change and uplift marginalized communities?\u201d<\/em><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>A current resume<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>A transcript from all institutions attended<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Proof of acceptance to law school for Fall 2025<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Documentation of community service, extracurricular activities, and future career plans<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Attendance at the NBLSA Pre-Law Symposium on March 14th, 2025, in Atlanta, GA<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>More info &amp; apply: <a href=\"https:\/\/www.nblsa.org\/nelsonmandelascholarship\" data-type=\"link\" data-id=\"https:\/\/www.nblsa.org\/nelsonmandelascholarship\">https:\/\/www.nblsa.org\/nelsonmandelascholarship<\/a><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>We are excited to announce the 2025 NBLSA Nelson Mandela Pre-Law Scholarship!
