Our award is available to students who meet the following criteria:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Eligibility:<\/strong> <\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Current or aspiring law student<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Citizen or permanent resident of the United States<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Enrolled at an accredited college or university within the United States as an undergraduate or graduate student for the upcoming semester<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>At least 17 years of age<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Scholarship Application Requirements:<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Submit a <strong>video (max 5 minutes)<\/strong> or <strong>essay (max 1,000 words)<\/strong> addressing civil rights challenges faced by millennial workers and how to protect their workplace rights.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Demonstrate a <strong>passion for civil rights<\/strong> and knowledge of employment law.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Include <strong>contact information<\/strong> and proof of enrollment.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>The application deadline for our scholarship is September 3, 2025, with a winner to be selected by October 3, 2025. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>For more information visit: <a href=\"https:\/\/www.fedemploymentlaw.com\/the-devadoss-law-firm-civil-rights-scholarship\/\">The Devadoss Law Firm Civil Rights Scholarship<\/a><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Twice a year, the Devadoss Law Firm offers a Civil Rights Scholarship worth $1,000 to college students throughout the United States pursuing a law degree.
