This scholarship aims to assist individuals committed to making a positive impact in employment law and related fields.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\" \/>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Eligibility:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Must be a U.S. citizen or permanent resident<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Must be enrolled in or planning to attend a U.S. college or university in Fall 2025<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Must have a minimum GPA of 3.5 from the last institution attended<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Must demonstrate a passion for civil rights and\/or employment law issues, such as discrimination, harassment, wage theft, whistleblower protections, and union bargaining rights<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\" \/>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Requirements:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Proof of enrollment in an accredited college or university<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Official or unofficial transcripts showing a GPA of 3.5 or higher<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Contact information<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>A 250\u2013500 word essay or a 2\u20133 minute video addressing the prompt: How do you plan to use your education to promote workers\u2019 rights and\/or civil rights in employment spaces?<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\" \/>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Selection Criteria:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Quality and clarity of the essay or video response<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Demonstrated interest in employment law and civil rights issues<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Fulfillment of all eligibility requirements and submission of all necessary materials<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\" \/>\n\n\n\n<p>For more information and to apply, visit: <a class=\"\" href=\"https:\/\/www.freedlawfirm.com\/scholarship\">https:\/\/www.freedlawfirm.com\/scholarship<\/a><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Amount Awarded: $1,000 Application Deadline: September 8, 2025 (by 11:59 PM EST) Freedman Law, LLC is offering the Workplace Rights Scholarship to support students passionate about advancing workers&#8217; rights and civil rights.
