Founded by U.S. Navy Veteran Michelle Behan, this scholarship reflects the firm&#8217;s commitment to honoring military service and aiding those who have served or are serving in the U.S. military, as well as their families.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Eligibility:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Must be a U.S. military Veteran, current service member, or the child of a Veteran or current service member<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Must be currently enrolled in, or accepted to, an undergraduate or graduate program at an accredited U.S. college or university<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Education must continue at least through the Spring 2026 semester<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Must be 18 years of age or older<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Must have a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Requirements:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>A 500\u20131,000 word essay addressing:\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>How your experience as a Veteran or the child of a Veteran has influenced your academic and career goals<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>How you plan to use your education to positively impact your community<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Most recent academic transcript<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Proof of military service for yourself or your parent<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Professional headshot<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Contact information including name, address, phone number, and email address<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Selection Criteria:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Thoughtfulness, self-reflection, and originality<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Writing quality, including spelling, grammar, organization, and clarity<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Adherence to application instructions and criteria<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Winners will be selected and notified no later than January 5, 2026. The scholarship funds will be coordinated with the financial aid department of the recipient&#8217;s chosen institution.
