The scholarship provides $1,000 to one undergraduate or graduate student preparing for a future as a government employee.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Eligibility Requirements:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Must be pursuing a degree related to public service or intend to use their degree to pursue a career in public service.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Must have a cumulative GPA of 3.5 or higher.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Must be enrolled or planning to enroll in a college or university within the United States for the Spring 2027 semester.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Must be at least 17 years old.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Must be a U.S. citizen.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Application Requirements:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Completed online scholarship application.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Proof of enrollment at an accredited institution, such as an acceptance letter, unofficial transcript, or similar documentation.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Evidence of most recently achieved GPA.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Resume.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Headshot.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>An essay of approximately 500 words responding to the prompt: What kind of career are you hoping to build in government, and how do you see your work making a positive impact on the lives of everyday Americans?<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Applications must be submitted through the scholarship application page by 11:59 p.m. on January 6, 2027.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>For more information, visit the website at: <a href=\"https:\/\/www.melehylaw.com\/scholarship\">https:\/\/www.melehylaw.com\/scholarship<\/a><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Scholarship Amount: $1,000 Application Deadline: January 6, 2027 Overview: The Melehy &amp; Associates Public Service Scholarship supports students who are committed to pursuing careers in public service or government work.
