The scholarship provides $1,000 to assist an eligible student with post-secondary educational expenses.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Eligibility Requirements:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Must personally be fighting cancer, have previously fought cancer, or have an immediate family member who is currently or previously fought cancer.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Must be enrolled or planning to enroll in an undergraduate or graduate program within the United States.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Must be at least 17 years old.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Must be a citizen of the United States.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Application Requirements:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Completed online scholarship application.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Proof of enrollment at an accredited institution.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>An essay of approximately 750 words responding to the prompt: How would you characterize the way society talks about cancer survivors and cancer as a whole?
