The award is open to students at different education levels and is intended to support their education.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Eligibility Requirements:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Currently enrolled at, or hold a written offer of admission to, an accredited U.S. college, university, graduate school, or law school<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Will be enrolled during the 2027\u20132028 academic year<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Employees of Blass Law PLLC and their immediate family members are not eligible<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>No minimum GPA, residency requirement, or law\/criminal justice major is required<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Application Requirements:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Complete the application form on the scholarship webpage<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Submit an original essay of 750\u20131,000 words answering the prompt about a specific criminal justice rule, statute, or courtroom practice in your state, a proposed change, and the strongest argument against that change<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Upload the essay as a PDF or Word document, with your name and essay title on the first page<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">For more information, visit the website at: <a href=\"https:\/\/www.blasslaw.com\/scholarship\/\" rel=\"noopener\" target=\"_blank\">https:\/\/www.blasslaw.com\/scholarship\/<\/a><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Scholarship Amount: $1,000 Application Deadline: May 1, 2027 Overview: Blass Law PLLC awards one scholarship each year to a student who submits the most persuasive essay about a specific problem in the American criminal justice system.
