This scholarship provides $1,000 each semester to help eligible students continue their education while overcoming the financial and personal challenges associated with a serious accident.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Eligibility Requirements:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Must have been injured in a car accident within the last five years or have an immediate family member who was injured in a car accident during that time.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Must have a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Must be enrolled or planning to enroll in an undergraduate or graduate program within the United States for the Spring or Fall 2027 semester.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Must be at least 17 years old.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Must be a citizen of the United States.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Application Requirements:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Completed online scholarship application.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Proof of enrollment in the form of an acceptance letter.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Academic transcript demonstrating the required GPA.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>A 500\u2013750-word essay describing how the motor vehicle accident affected the applicant&#8217;s life, the steps they have taken to move forward, and how the experience has affected their studies.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Applications must be submitted through the scholarship application page by March 29, 2027, at 11:59 p.m.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">For more information, visit the website at: <a href=\"https:\/\/www.merrickbrock.com\/scholarship\">https:\/\/www.merrickbrock.com\/scholarship<\/a><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Scholarship Amount: $1,000 Application Deadline: March 29, 2027 Overview: The Merrick Brock Survivor Scholarship supports students whose lives have been affected by a motor vehicle accident involving themselves or an immediate family member.
