{"id":8295,"date":"2019-10-14T18:38:10","date_gmt":"2019-10-14T18:38:10","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/blogs.uakron.edu\/liblog\/?p=8295"},"modified":"2019-10-14T18:43:11","modified_gmt":"2019-10-14T18:43:11","slug":"ul-migration-to-sharepoint-365","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/blogs.uakron.edu\/liblog\/2019\/10\/14\/ul-migration-to-sharepoint-365\/","title":{"rendered":"UL  Migration to SharePoint 365"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>IT migrated the UL SharePoint to SharePoint 365 in the cloud.&nbsp; Migration started  10\/9\/2019 and was completed on 10\/10\/2019.&nbsp;The old SharePoint site will be read-only for 14 days.&nbsp; After 14 days the old site will be locked. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><br \/><strong>Things to do and know regarding the UL SharePoint migration<\/strong> &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>  UL SharePoint to be migrated: <a href=\"https:\/\/sps.uakron.edu\/sites\/UL\/\">https:\/\/sps.uakron.edu\/sites\/UL\/<\/a> <\/li><li>New UL SharePoint: <a href=\"https:\/\/uazips.sharepoint.com\/sites\/UL\">https:\/\/uazips.sharepoint.com\/sites\/UL<\/a> <\/li><li> The old UL SharePoint will be <strong>read only<\/strong> for 14 days <\/li><li>The old SharePoint will be locked and unavailable after 14 days (10\/28\/2019)<\/li><li>Access, edit, add, and upload documents to the new UL SharePoint<\/li><li>If you manage a subsite or a document library\/libraries within the UL SharePoint please log in before 10\/18\/2019 and to make sure you are able to access, edit, add, and upload documents<\/li><li> If you use departmental documentation on SharePoint  please log in before 10\/18\/2019  to make sure you can access the documents you regularly use <\/li><li> All UL personnel from the following units should test to make sure they have access to SharePoint 365 before the end of next week:  <ul><li>Access Services<\/li><li>Archives<\/li><li>Dean&#8217;s Office<\/li><li>Electronic Services<\/li><li>Research and Learning Services<\/li><li>Science and Technology Library<\/li><\/ul><\/li><li>  Update shortcuts or links to point to the new UL SharePoint on 365 <\/li><li>E-mail Susan (<a href=\"mailto:ashby@uakron.edu\">ashby@uakron.edu<\/a>) if you encounter any post-migration issues or problems or you have any questions. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/li><\/ul>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>IT migrated the UL SharePoint to SharePoint 365 in the cloud.&nbsp; Migration started 10\/9\/2019 and was completed on 10\/10\/2019.&nbsp;The old SharePoint site will be read-only for 14 days.&nbsp; After 14 days the old site will be locked.
