Lists can be set up in one of several different formats and can later be changed if needed.<\/p>\n
Broadcast\/Newsletter<\/strong><\/p>\n Lists in the format are set as “one-way” communications.\u00a0 Only the owners are allowed to send to the lists.\u00a0 Any other messages sent to the list will be directed to the owner for approval.<\/p>\n Discussion<\/strong><\/p>\n Lists in this format allow communication among the subscribers.\u00a0 Subscribers of the list will be able to send to the list and their messages will be seen by all the subscribers of the list.\u00a0 This is viable format for small lists – larger lists should be set as Broadcast or Moderated.<\/p>\n Moderated<\/strong><\/p>\n Similar to Discussion lists, all the subscribers are allowed to send to the lists.\u00a0 However, the messages are first sent to a designated Moderator (or the owner, if there is no moderator identified) for approval before the messages reach the list membership.<\/p>\n Variations on these options are available to further customize the sending and receiving for the list.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":" Lists can be set up in one of several different formats and can later be changed if needed.
