The name of the list. \u00a0 Ex. <strong>something-something@lists.uakron.edu<\/strong>\u00a0 The &#8220;-&#8221; in the name is a convention of the lists.\u00a0 Do <em>not<\/em> include spaces, special characters, or uppercase letters.<\/p>\n<p>2. A title for the list to help identify it.\u00a0 Ex. &#8220;<strong>UA Webteam Update List<\/strong>&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>3. Names and email addresses of the owners.\u00a0 These individuals will be able to send to the list and to modify the list membership as needed. For Broadcast\/Newsletter lists, these are the only valid senders.<\/p>\n<p>4. Format.\u00a0 Primarily, these are Broadcast or Discussion.\u00a0 <a href=\"http:\/\/blogs.uakron.edu\/listserv\/list-formats\/\">More information on Formats<\/a><\/p>\n<p>If you have a spreadsheet of subscriber email addresses and (optionally) names, send those along with the list set-up information to be bulk loaded into the list to help speed up the set-up process for you.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>To request a new list, do not use the New List option in the listserv.
