{"id":67,"date":"2016-02-26T14:44:11","date_gmt":"2016-02-26T14:44:11","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/blogs.uakron.edu\/listserv\/?page_id=67"},"modified":"2023-01-07T19:40:12","modified_gmt":"2023-01-07T19:40:12","slug":"manage-your-list","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/blogs.uakron.edu\/listserv\/manage-your-list\/","title":{"rendered":"Manage your list"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>To access your lists, first <a href=\"http:\/\/blogs.uakron.edu\/listserv\/log-in\/\">log-in<\/a> to Sympa.<\/p>\n<p>You&#8217;ll have two options:<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-395 alignright\" src=\"https:\/\/blogs.uakron.edu\/listserv\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/1303\/2023\/01\/myLists.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"220\" height=\"232\" \/>My Lists will show you a &#8220;list of Lists&#8221; where you are a Subscriber or an Owner.\u00a0 List subscribers can use this to see information about their subscription to the list or unsubscribe (if allowed by the list settings). List Owners can use this to access the admin area for individual lists.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignleft size-full wp-image-396\" src=\"https:\/\/blogs.uakron.edu\/listserv\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/1303\/2023\/01\/searchLists.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"230\" height=\"238\" \/><\/p>\n<p>The Search for List(s) option allows you to search through the entire list system &#8211; based on the full name of the list, a partial name, or word in the list Title.\u00a0 Note that some lists are further restricted and will not show in the results unless you are a Member or Owner of that list.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignleft wp-image-398\" src=\"https:\/\/blogs.uakron.edu\/listserv\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/1303\/2023\/01\/searchResults.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"448\" height=\"211\" srcset=\"https:\/\/blogs.uakron.edu\/listserv\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/1303\/2023\/01\/searchResults.png 748w, https:\/\/blogs.uakron.edu\/listserv\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/1303\/2023\/01\/searchResults.png?resize=300,141 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 448px) 100vw, 448px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Select the list name from My Lists or the search results to proceed.<\/p>\n<p>1. Note the list information panel on the left:<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignleft size-full wp-image-399\" src=\"https:\/\/blogs.uakron.edu\/listserv\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/1303\/2023\/01\/listPanel.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"316\" height=\"477\" srcset=\"https:\/\/blogs.uakron.edu\/listserv\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/1303\/2023\/01\/listPanel.png 316w, https:\/\/blogs.uakron.edu\/listserv\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/1303\/2023\/01\/listPanel.png?resize=199,300 199w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 316px) 100vw, 316px\" \/><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>You&#8217;ll see your status on the list at the top &#8211; as an Owner and\/or Subscriber.<\/li>\n<li>Under the List Options, you&#8217;ll see the total of subscribers for your list &#8211; the link will take you to the Subscribers management screen.<\/li>\n<li>The error rate shows the percentage of bad addresses on your list &#8211;\u00a0 the link here will allow you to review those &#8220;bounces&#8221; and update the membership.<\/li>\n<li>The Owners and Moderators are listed next by ID\/Email.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>2. In the main part of the page, look for the View or Manage Subscribers section:<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignleft size-full wp-image-400\" src=\"https:\/\/blogs.uakron.edu\/listserv\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/1303\/2023\/01\/subscribersMenu.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"485\" height=\"187\" srcset=\"https:\/\/blogs.uakron.edu\/listserv\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/1303\/2023\/01\/subscribersMenu.png 485w, https:\/\/blogs.uakron.edu\/listserv\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/1303\/2023\/01\/subscribersMenu.png?resize=300,116 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 485px) 100vw, 485px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Of the options, both &#8220;View the list of subscribers&#8221; and &#8220;Add\/delete subscribers&#8221; will both lead to the management page for the Subscribers.<\/p>\n<p>If your list allows subscriber to add or remove themselves, you can review those requests from this menu.\u00a0\u00a0 Select &#8220;View the list of Subscribers&#8221; to proceed.<\/p>\n<p>3.
