These research project grants (R01) will support innovative studies designed to investigate biological\/genetic bases of cancer disparities, such as (1) mechanistic studies of biological factors associated with cancer disparities, including those related to basic research in cancer biology or cancer prevention intervention strategies, (2) the development and testing of new methodologies and models, and (3) secondary data analyses.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/grants.nih.gov\/grants\/guide\/pa-files\/PAR-15-093.html\" target=\"_blank\">Sponsor Website<\/a><\/p>\n<h1 class=\"program\">Image-guided Drug Delivery in Cancer (R01)<\/h1>\n<p><strong>Deadline:<\/strong> November 19, 2015<\/p>\n<p>National Cancer Institute (NCI) and National Institute of Biomedical Imaging and Bioengineering (NIBIB) invite applications innovative research projects that are focused on image-guided drug delivery (IGDD), including real-time image guidance, monitoring, quantitative in vivo characterizations and validation of delivery and response. It will support research in development of integrated imaging-based platforms for multifunctional and multiplexed drug delivery systems in cancer and other diseases, quantitative imaging assays of drug delivery, and early intervention.
