The aim is to enhance the fundamental understanding of perceptual, motor, and cognitive processes and their interactions. Central research topics for consideration by the program include (but are not limited to) vision, audition, haptics, attention, memory, reasoning, written and spoken language, motor control, categorization, and spatial cognition.<\/p>\n<h2><a href=\"https:\/\/www.nsf.gov\/funding\/pgm_summ.jsp?pims_id=504696&amp;org=NSF&amp;sel_org=NSF&amp;from=fund\" target=\"_blank\">Science of Organizations \u00a0(SoO)<\/a><\/h2>\n<p><strong>Deadline:<\/strong> February 2, 2017<\/p>\n<p>The Science of Organizations (SoO) program funds basic research that yields a scientific evidence base for improving the design and emergence, development and deployment, and management and ultimate effectiveness of organizations of all kinds.<\/p>\n<h2><a href=\"https:\/\/www.nsf.gov\/funding\/pgm_summ.jsp?pims_id=505289&amp;org=NSF&amp;sel_org=NSF&amp;from=fund\" target=\"_blank\">Inclusion across the Nation of Communities of Learners of Underrepresented Discoverers in Engineering and Science \u00a0(NSF INCLUDES)<\/a><\/h2>\n<p><strong>Deadline:\u00a0<\/strong>Preliminary Proposal due February 14, 2017. \u00a0Full Proposal due May 16, 2017<\/p>\n<p>Inclusion across the Nation of Communities of Learners of Underrepresented Discoverers in Engineering and Science (NSF INCLUDES) is a comprehensive national initiative designed to enhance U.S. leadership in science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM) discoveries and innovations focused on NSF&#8217;s commitment to diversity, inclusion,\u00a0and broadening participation in these fields.<\/p>\n<h2><a href=\"https:\/\/www.nsf.gov\/funding\/pgm_summ.jsp?pims_id=505118&amp;org=NSF&amp;sel_org=NSF&amp;from=fund\" target=\"_blank\">SOCIOLOGY PROGRAM &#8211; Doctoral Dissertation Research Improvement Awards \u00a0(Soc-DDRI)<\/a><\/h2>\n<p><strong>Deadline:<\/strong> February 28, 2017<\/p>\n<p>The Sociology Program supports basic research on all forms of human social organization &#8212; societies, institutions, groups and demography &#8212; and processes of individual and institutional change.
