{"id":39923,"date":"2017-05-02T11:10:30","date_gmt":"2017-05-02T15:10:30","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/blogs.uakron.edu\/researchnewsinfo\/?p=39923"},"modified":"2017-05-02T11:10:30","modified_gmt":"2017-05-02T15:10:30","slug":"ohio-federal-research-network-opportunities","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/blogs.uakron.edu\/researchnewsinfo\/2017\/05\/02\/ohio-federal-research-network-opportunities\/","title":{"rendered":"Ohio Federal Research Network Opportunities"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>As part of the Ohio Federal Research Network\u2019s (OFRN \u2013 <a href=\"http:\/\/www.ohiofrn.org\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">www.ohiofrn.org<\/a>) mission, we are engaging Ohio-based businesses throughout the State in order to identify sponsored research opportunities.<\/p>\n<p>We have two types of opportunities: Sponsored Research and RFI.\u00a0 <em>Sponsored Research<\/em> is an opportunity with a budget and due date.\u00a0 <em>RFIs<\/em> are expressed interest in understanding specific capabilities within the network, without a current budget, but possibly a timeframe.<\/p>\n<p>While these are un-funded opportunities, that doesn\u2019t imply a lack of interest from the client.\u00a0 We have vetted both the client and these opportunities and the technical need documented is a real one.
