The managing agent for the anticipated Program\nAnnouncement\/Funding Opportunity is the Congressionally Directed Medical\nResearch Programs (CDMRP) at the U.S. Army Medical Research and Materiel\nCommand (USAMRMC).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The PH\/TBIRP and\nJPC-5\/MOMRP are providing the information in this pre-announcement to allow\ninvestigators time to plan and develop applications.&nbsp; The FY19 PHTBIRP\nProgram Announcement and General Application Instructions for the following\naward mechanism is anticipated to be posted on the Grants.gov website in May\n2019.&nbsp; Pre-application and application deadlines will be available when\nthe Program Announcement is released.&nbsp; This pre-announcement should not be\nconstrued as an obligation by the government.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Prevention\nResearch to Reduce Sexual Assault and\/or Understand Adjustment Disorders\n(PSAAD)<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Intramural\n(DoD) and extramural investigators at Assistant Professor level or above (or\nequivalent) are eligible to submit applications.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Applications\nto the FY19 PHTBIRP PSAAD Investigator Initiated Focused Research Award should\naddress the development or adaptation of prevention efforts to reduce the\noccurrence of sexual assault or address approaches to better understand, screen\nfor, and prevent Adjustment Disorders among Service members, ultimately\nbenefiting the public at large.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>The\nmaximum allowable funding for the entire period of performance is $1,000,000\nfor direct costs. <\/li><li>The\nmaximum period of performance is 3 years. <\/li><li>Indirect costs may be proposed in\naccordance with the institution\u2019s negotiated rate agreement.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>A pre-application is required and must\nbe submitted through the electronic Biomedical Research Application Portal\n(eBRAP) at <a href=\"https:\/\/nam03.safelinks.protection.outlook.com\/?url=https%3A%2F%2FeBRAP.org&amp;data=02%7C01%7CRschSrvsGA8%40uakron.edu%7C54877d8305c949881c9608d6b6a51ff0%7Ce8575dedd7f94ecea4aa0b32991aeedd%7C1%7C0%7C636897217650400937&amp;sdata=CVHHDV1RCKt1pPA8a%2BDGggVriaLKWRLxd7tjkVbiQ6M%3D&amp;reserved=0\">https:\/\/eBRAP.org<\/a> prior to the pre-application deadline.\nAll applications must conform to the final Program Announcements and General\nApplication Instructions that will be available for electronic downloading from\nthe Grants.gov website.&nbsp; The application package containing the required\nforms for each award mechanism will also be found on Grants.gov.&nbsp; A listing\nof all CDMRP and other USAMRMC extramural funding opportunities can be obtained\non the Grants.gov website by performing a basic search using CFDA Number\n12.420.&nbsp;
