In\nsupport of the DOE Public Access Plan<\/a>, this message is to\nremind recipients of SC funded awards that it is a term and condition of the\naward to submit, to DOE, the final peer-reviewed accepted manuscripts for any\npublished journal articles based on work supported by your award. Submissions\nare to be made to the DOE corporate E-Link system<\/a>, and it is expected that\nrecipients will submit final peer-reviewed accepted manuscripts as soon as they\nare accepted for publication, but no later than one-year after the date the\njournal article is published online, and before closeout After the one-year\nperiod, final peer-reviewed accepted manuscripts will be made available through\nDOE PAGES<\/a> and OSTI.GOV<\/a>. Details describing this requirement\ncan be found here<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Instructions\nto submit final peer-reviewed accepted manuscripts are included in the Federal\nAssistance Reporting Checklist and Instructions (DOE F 4600.2<\/a>) and the award provision\nentitled, \u201cReporting Requirements\u201d. A video<\/a> demonstrating the process is also\navailable.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

When\npublishing work that is supported by your award, it is important to remember to\nacknowledge DOE and the award appropriately. Requirements for acknowledgement\nof federal support can be found here<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Also,\nfor journal articles listed in your Research Performance Progress Reports\n(RPPRs), please see instructions provided under \u201cB. Scientific\/Technical\nReporting\u201d of the 4600.2<\/a> for submission of final peer-reviewed\naccepted manuscripts to ensure the journal articles reported are in compliance\nwith the requirements for public access.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
