Interested and eligible applicants can find the&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.imls.gov\/sites\/default\/files\/2021-03\/fy21-oms-cap-nofo.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Notice of Funding Opportunity here<\/a>&nbsp;(PDF, 530KB).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Program Overview:<\/strong><br>The Collections Assessment for Conservation (CAP) program is designed to help small and mid-sized museums better care for their collections.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>A CAP assessment is a study of an institution\u2019s collections, buildings, and building systems, as well as its collections care policies and procedures. The assessment involves a site visit by collections and building assessors, who spend two days touring the museum and interviewing staff and governing officials.
