From December 2019 to March 2020, our Round About Akron Walking Tour’s hub in the Polsky Building’s windows gave Akronites the chance to relive a bit of their retail history. Our displays gave tribute to the Polsky’s holiday windows that were so beloved by visitors during the department store’s heyday. At the same time, our window displays also served as a real-world anchor for our walking tour, showing passers-by what downtown spots we featured on a map and web site.
