What is OSGS?<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

The Ohio Student Government Summit (OSGS) is a student government conference dedicated to bringing student governments in Ohio and neighboring states together to exchange ideas, build connections, and foster development across institutions. OSGS was first held in 2017 as a University of Akron Honors Research Project for a College of Business Williams Honors College student. It has been held annually, excluding 2020, 2021, and 2022 due to the pandemic. <\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

The theme for OSGS 2026 is Voices to Vision<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

This year\u2019s theme, “Voices to Vision,” celebrates the power of collective expression and the transformation of ideas into action. In student government, every voice contributes to shaping a shared vision for the future, where collaboration, innovation, and purpose-driven leadership guide the way. OSGS 2026 will empower student leaders to amplify their voices, align their passions with meaningful goals, and translate dialogue into impact, both on your campus and beyond graduation. Through engaging speakers, interactive workshops, and networking opportunities, participants will learn how to turn inspiration into strategy and advocacy into progress. By uniting many voices, you can create a clear vision for tomorrow; one that reflects the strength, creativity, and resilience of student leadership. <\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n
