Maker Faire Wayne County"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>The <a href=\"https:\/\/waynecounty.makerfaire.com\/\">Maker Faire Wayne County<\/a> is a <strong>family-friendly showcase\nof invention, creativity and resourcefulness<\/strong> and a\ncelebration of the Maker Movement. &nbsp;It\u2019s a place where people show what\nthey are making and share what they are learning.&nbsp; Makers range from tech\nenthusiasts to crafters to homesteaders to scientists to garage tinkerers. They\nare of all ages and backgrounds. The aim of Maker Faire is to <strong>entertain, inform, connect and grow this community.<\/strong><strong><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/blogs.uakron.edu\/waynec3\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/1058\/2020\/05\/065-1024x683.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-12903\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>The Daily Record said it best: \u201cDubbed the\n\u2018Greatest Show and Tell on Earth\u2019; over <strong>1,200 people<\/strong> flocked to the third annual faire at the\nUniversity of Akron Wayne College last May. &nbsp;It was a fresh experience\nwith <strong>favorite makers from last year<\/strong> along with new makers and new things to see and do.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/blogs.uakron.edu\/waynec3\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/1058\/2020\/05\/eind2-1024x576.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-12907\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/makezine.com\/2019\/11\/08\/maker-faire-eindhoven\/\"><\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/makezine.com\/2019\/11\/08\/maker-faire-eindhoven\/\">Eindhoven Maker\nFaire<\/a> brought together over <strong>250 makers and\n15,000 attendees<\/strong> for the largest\nfestival of its kind <strong>in the Netherlands.<\/strong> The\nweekend was full of celebration, innovation, amusement, and discovery.\n&nbsp;While weaving around the thoughtfully curated layout of makers, discovery\nwas at every turn.
