The rocket nosecone printed perfectly yesterday.\u00a0 The piece is thin, symmetrical, and ready to fly.\u00a0 The cone features an attachment beam for the parachute, printed by strings lines of plastic in mid-air to each side of the cone.\u00a0 It is amazing to see the printer print plastic in mid-air, like a spider building a web.\u00a0 We also printed a guitar string winding tool.<\/p>\n
Today\u2019s print is the rocket\u2019s payload mid-section.\u00a0 It has a threaded base which prints automatically as part of the mid-section.\u00a0 Also in the dock is a Wonder Woman\u2019s tiara!\u00a0 You never know what some of our students, faculty, and staff request to print.\u00a0 \ud83d\ude42<\/p>\n
