The research database, Statista, is now available to UA users. It offers access to 1 million facts and statistics that are ready to use in PPT, XLS and PNG. In promotional material released by Statista, current users of the database say that Statista saves them a lot of time when conducting their research because their search for data is done -Statista is one-stop shopping. Users just type in a keyword or browse by topic which include over 600 industries.

On a personal note, I was amazed by the variety of subjects covered by Statista and by my search results. My test search on the topic of tea returned a statistical overview of the industry in the United States, the leading tea brands, a market forecast, consumer data, an infographic and much more! I recommend that all researchers give this database a try!
