New Book Inspires and Challenges Educators

In the new book, The craft of university teaching, Peter Lindsay, professor of political science and philosophy at Georgia State, seeks to reclaim teaching as the intellectually vibrant and rewarding endeavor that it is. Lindsay emphasizes the path that it takes to arrive at an educational outcome, not the outcome itself. With this in mind, practical examples and anecdotes pave the way for university instructors of all ages and of all disciplines to become inspired by the craft of teaching. Chapters in the book cover: craft teaching, teaching personas, words that teach, slow teaching, and cheating.
