The Library is hiring student assistants for the Spring Semester for the evening shift, which usually is 4 or 5 p.m to 8 or 9 p.m. Monday- Thursday. Job Description:
\n\u2022 Assist library staff with day-to-day tasks
\n\u2022 Shelve library materials
\n\u2022 Check in and check out materials
\n\u2022 Assist students, faculty, and staff in locating materials
\n\u2022 Answer basic reference questions<\/p>\n
Required skills:
\n\u2022 Excellent customer service skills
\n\u2022 Strong communication and organizational skills
\n\u2022 Basic computer knowledge
\n\u2022 Ability to understand and follow oral and written instructions
\n\u2022 Ability to maintain confidential information<\/p>\n
Experience searching online library databases and working with Microsoft Office programs is preferred.<\/p>\n
