Research Interests:
The aim of my dissertation is to understand how the fundamental framework of interfacial science can be applied to the complex case of ice. Specific applications include ice nucleation, adhesion, and friction. Other research interests include surface sensitive spectroscopy, biomimicry, and sustainability (specifically waste management, renewable energy, and carbon sequestration).
