Our Team

The Akronauts Rocket Design team follows a four-tier structure.  At the top there are seven officers who govern which projects the team will pursue and have the responsibility of passing on their knowledge to the younger members. Next are five system managers that are in charge of guiding the individual sub teams. Each manager oversees 2-4 sub teams.  The next tier are our leads that are in charge of the day to day work that goes on within a sub team. Lastly, the members. These are students who do not yet hold an official role and are early in their classes. It is their job to learn as much as possible to begin designing and building rockets
