Welcome to The SIGNALS Research Lab!
The mission of the SIGNALS Lab is to develop state-of-the-art biotechnology to find solutions to current healthcare issues. Our Lab is dedicated to creating a positive environment to nurture future researchers, scientists, and scholars.
Curious About Research? Join the Signals Research Club!
The SIGNALS Research Club
The Signals Research Club is a student-driven extension of The Signals Research Lab, created to inspire undergraduate engineers to explore hands-on research in a supportive, flexible environment. Participation is completely voluntary, and students can dive into projects they propose themselves or take on challenges assigned by mentors. Our work spans a wide range of exciting topics—including speech and audio processing, EEG and other bio-signal studies, medical image analysis, AI applications in healthcare, and prosthetics design. Along the way, members collaborate as a team, develop analytical and problem-solving skills, and build leadership and innovation experience, all while contributing to the broader mission of the Signals Research Lab. Whether you’re curious about research or eager to push the boundaries of engineering, we welcome you to join us. Contact us: https://blogs.uakron.edu/barkana-signals-lab/contact/
