  • Fundraised for undergraduate scholarships via CFCE (distributed scholarships for over $70k per academic year) ( 2000 – present)
  • Hired faculty members who rank in the College of Engineering as the highest in publication record and research funding at their ranks (2002)
  • Initiated a proposal led by the Civil Engineering Department at the University of Akron for the formation of a Transportation Center in cooperation with Ohio University, University of Cincinnati, Central Ohio University, University of Dayton and Case Western Reserve University (2000). Funding at level 0f $2M received for 2006-2010.
