Research Interests: My research interests center around the long-term psychological consequences of Adverse Childhood Experiences (ACEs) and sexual violence. I am interested in how traumatic experiences alter neurological function and contribute to the development of trauma-and-stressor related disorders in individuals.

What does "Empowerment" mean to you?: To me, "Empowerment" means reclaiming control, as well as one's voice, in the aftermath of trauma. It reflects the ability and capacity of survivors to redefine their narratives on their own terms.
