S. Victor Fleischer, University Archivist, Head of Archival Services, and Associate Professor of Bibliography, recently served as a judge for the 2019 National Academy of Television Arts & Sciences (NATAS) regional Emmy Awards. Due to his involvement in the production of the Emmy-nominated documentary film Lost Voices of the Great War, Fleischer was invited to judge numerous nominations in the Documentary—Historical/Cultural category for the NATAS Upper Midwest Chapter, which will hold its 20th Anniversary Emmy Gala in Minnesota on October 5th. Fleischer has also been serving as a peer reviewer for the Journal of Archival Organization, an international, peer-reviewed journal published by Taylor & Francis that encompasses all aspects of the arrangement, description, and provision of access to all forms of archival materials.
